If you believe organized grassroots leadership is critical to a vibrant and self-sustaining community, ESOP needs your help! Make a contribution. Financial contributions to ESOP are always needed and welcome. ESOP is a 501(c)3 organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. You can make a one-time donation or spread your contribution out throughout the year.
ESOP is a member of Community Shares, an organization committed to raising money for its social justice-oriented member organizations. Does your employer include Community Shares as an option for employees during workplace giving campaigns? If so, consider pledging to Community Shares and, if you wish, designate ESOP as your chosen organization to receive the funds. If not, do you know someone who could make sure Community Shares is included in your company's next campaign?
Equipment and supply donations (ie: standard office supplies, office furniture like filing cabinets, chairs and conference tables, licensed software products like Microsoft Windows ME or XP, Office 2000 or Quickbooks, or Pentium III-class desktop or laptop computers) are very welcome. Contact ESOP to set up equipment donations.
Become an ESOP member. ESOP can always use volunteer help with making reminder calls for meetings, stuffing envelopes, filing, etc. We are also looking for volunteers with legal, accounting, book-keeping, graphic design and editing skills. Contact us if you'd like to help or sign up using our Volunteer Form.
Community leaders are the lifeblood of ESOP. If you are impacted by the issues ESOP addresses and want to organize for change, come be a part of ESOP. Attend a meeting to learn more the issues we are working on. Check the calendar or contact us to find out about the date of our next meeting.
